Accounts & Renewals Administrator

Employment status: Permanent part-time

Location: Brendale

This crucial back-of-house role ensures that all financial aspects of the business are carried out in a timely fashion and all reporting deadlines, including BAS, are met.

Working with senior managers, including Co-Founders/Directors, the Accounts role is responsible for accounts receivable, keeping overdue accounts to a minimum, BAS reporting, fortnightly payroll, and coordinating website renewal services.

The person in this role proactively seeks new ways to streamline the financial operations of the business.

  • Client services & renewals (e.g. website hosting, SSL, domains, 365) – full training provided

Ideal Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial and tax requirements/obligations
  • Proven knowledge and experience using Xero, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Xero certification/s (advantageous but not essential)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliations
  • Ability to adapt and implement new technologies and processes to streamline operations
